Last month, we attended a charity event in support of Positive Action in the Community (PAC), where BlueRock IT were the highest bidders and therefore the honourable winners of our auction prize.
The prize? A private screening for up to six people to watch a film of their choice, with unlimited hotdogs, popcorn, and drinks.
BlueRock IT chose to watch the award-winning remake of Dune, which was released in 2021 and won six Academy Awards such as Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, and Best Music.
We are delighted to be able to support PAC – a local registered charity with a vision to give the greatest opportunity for a safe, fulfilled, and aspirational life, free from homelessness, domestic abuse, and poor mental health. PAC receives over 1,000 new requests for support every year, helping people with supported accommodation, community-based support, counselling, and much more.
So, what did the team at BlueRock IT – who provide outsourced IT support and services for businesses across Lancashire – have to say about their afternoon in the Quintessential Cinemas showroom?
“We had an absolute blast on Saturday getting to experience a private six-seater cinema and were blown away by the quality of the sound. The demonstration room by Quintessential Cinemas is probably the best screen I’ve ever visited. Best of all, we even had Scott Earing on hand playing butler with beers, popcorn, and hotdogs!”
Bob Longworth, Managing Director, BlueRock IT
“Best kept secret in Burnley. Absolutely amazing. If you like going to the cinema, this is a must try.”
Peter Sims, Company Director, BlueRock IT
We had a fantastic time hosting the event, so thank you for being great guests and providing us with such positive feedback on our showroom!
