Overview
Quintessential Cinemas recently completed an extraordinary entertainment project for a private client in the heart of Lancashire. The newly built summer house now boasts a fully immersive media room, bar, and games area that combines modern technology with luxurious design. This project involved advanced audio-visual systems, home automation, lighting control, and more, offering the ultimate entertainment experience.

Project Brief
The client sought to create an inviting entertainment hub with a media room as the centrepiece, equipped with a 98″ Smart TV and a 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos sound system. Our goal was to ensure a flawless integration of new and existing technologies while maintaining ease of use for the client. The result is an elegant and smartly automated environment perfect for movie nights, gaming, and social gatherings.

Media Room
Display: Samsung QE98QN90 98″ Smart TV
Sound System: 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos featuring Niles LCR and FX In-Ceiling Speakers, Sonance VP62R-TL Atmos Speakers, and two Sonance Impact I10 Active Subwoofers.
AV Receiver: Yamaha RX-A2A for superior sound clarity and performance.

Audio-Visual Distribution
Video Distribution: Blustream 4×2 HDMI matrix allows video streaming across two zones, covering the media room and bar.
Audio Distribution: Sonos AMP & PORT deliver high-quality audio across four distinct zones: Media Room, Pool Table, Bar, and Terrace.
Video Sources: SkyQ Mini, PS5, and Amazon Fire TV Stick provide a range of content for ultimate flexibility in media consumption.

Lighting and Automation
Control4 Home Automation System: The entire entertainment space is fully automated using Control4, linked with the existing main house system. Lighting, audio, video, and heating are controlled via two custom keypads and a user-friendly interface.

Lighting Control: The Control4 Panelised System controls 24 dimmable circuits and 8 switched circuits, creating a custom lighting ambience.

Heating Control: The Heatmiser Neo system allows temperature control, ensuring comfort in all areas.

Wi-Fi Integration
Unifi UAP Wi-Fi solutions ensure seamless, high-speed connectivity throughout the new and existing properties enabling uninterrupted streaming and automation control.

Design & Collaboration
This project was a collaboration between Quintessential Cinemas and several renowned partners:
GB Integrated Systems Limited expertly installed and integrated the complex AV and automation systems, ensuring all systems work flawlessly together.
Evolution Bespoke Ltd completed the luxurious fit-out, with attention to every detail, from finishes to the ergonomic layout.
H O L T L I V I N G, led by interior designer Holly Stott, curated a sophisticated yet cosy ambience that enhances the high-end technology seamlessly.

The finished project offers an immersive, luxurious experience that blends cutting-edge technology with stylish interior design. The client now enjoys seamless access to video and audio across multiple zones, with full control over lighting, heating, and more through an intuitive automation system.
